There are two ways to become a member of the Hospital Auxiliary – either volunteer or become a Friend of the Auxiliary.  You can volunteer at Hilton Head Medical Center or Coastal Carolina Medical Center.  The in-service volunteer program is open to men and women from all walks of life.  Opportunities are available in numerous departments, including:

• Auxiliary: Board & Committees, Fundraising, Special Projects
• Auxiliary Gift Shops at both Hilton Head Hospital and Coastal Carolina Hospital
• Courtesy Shuttle (Trolley) at Hilton Head Hospital
• Greeter / Information Desk / Patient Reception at Hilton Head Hospital
• Same Day Surgery
• Emergency Department
• Outpatient Departments
• Surgery Family Waiting Rooms

Each volunteer must receive a health screening, background check and comprehensive orientation training, as well as annual training required by Novant.  This ensures well-prepared volunteers who are ready to serve.
