Women’s Health           

The Hospital Auxiliary continues to provide handbooks for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients at the Breast Health Center in Bluffton.  These books include the Breast Cancer Treatment Handbook, Breast Cancer Survivorship Handbook, and Sexuality After Cancer Treatment.   They were purchased in part by proceeds from the Hospital Auxiliary Golf Tournament and by donations received from Tanger Outlets, Spartina 449 and Heritage Academy.

The Auxiliary also provides refreshments for the monthly Breast Cancer Support Group meetings which are held at the Bluffton Medical Campus.  Each year, at the December support group meeting, a pink Christmas tree in the lobby is decorated in honor of all breast cancer survivors.
